What Is IVF?
IVF, which stands for In Vitro Fertilization, is a medical treatment that can help people become pregnant. During the IVF process, an egg and sperm are combined outside the body in a laboratory. Once the egg is fertilized, it becomes an embryo, which is then placed into the uterus to help start a pregnancy.
